Ice Cream Hut Signs New Franchise Partner for Florida
The newest agreement is the second franchise for the growing ice cream franchise
Merritt Island, FL (RestaurantNews.com) Ice Cream Hut, known for its variety of delicious ice cream flavors, Instagram-worthy treats, and vibrant atmosphere, has just signed its second franchise location. The newest store can be found in Merritt Island, Florida and is owned by Danny and Michelle Internicola, a husband and wife duo.
Ice Cream Hut’s Merritt Island store is the fourth location for the brand, which just launched its franchise opportunity last year. Other Ice Cream Hut locations can be found in Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, and Viera.
“We are excited to tap another market that is thriving and in need of the premium ice cream that we serve along with our energetic friendly staff and wild desert creations,” stated COO Ron Ramsey.
The Internicola family are fresh to the area, having relocated to Melbourne, Florida from Boston. Danny Internicola served as a United States Air Force veteran working in Security Forces, which he followed with a time as a dedicated State Trooper where he worked on the EOD unit at Logan Airport. The couple, who also have children they involve with the business, are excited to bring Ice Cream Hut to Merritt Island.

Ramsey shared that Ice Cream Hut works to be a reprieve from the traditional work setting and welcomes those who are ready to be their own boss. Franchise partners are taken through a comprehensive training program and given a strong ongoing support system.
“When Danny and Michelle inquired about a franchise, we knew from the start that they were the franchisees that we were looking for and were excited to share our brand with them. Look out, because Ice Cream Hut has more to come and will be coming to your neighborhood soon,” stated Ramsey.
