❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS EASY RECIPE

If you have followed our site for any amount of time, you know we love good food, but we don’t feel it should take hours in the kitchen or 50 different ingredients. Don’t get me wrong, we have some recipes that do take a bit of time but this isn’t one of them.

This crescent roll apple dumpling recipe is only a few ingredients, easy to make and a delicious dessert topped with ice cream. It is a perfect way to enjoy Fall apples! It’s also very budget-friendly.

🍴KEY INGREDIENTS

Crescent Rolls – These come in the tube in the refrigerator section at the grocery. So easy to bake with and so good.

Apples – We used red delicious apples and loved the way this came out. You can use any apples you like.

White and Brown Sugar -The combination of both sugars give this recipe a great flavor.

Butter – You can use salted or unsalted, whichever you prefer. We usually cook with unsalted butter.

Topping Ingredients:

Brown Sugar– goes great with cinnamon and pecans.

Pecans – We love pecans with this dish, if you are not a fan, simply leave them out.

Cinnamon – nothing says a great dish like the addition of cinnamon!

SWAPS

You can Mountain Dew or 7up in place of the water. Personally, we thought they were great this way, but I have never had them the other way. So give it a try if you like!

You could also use other fruit such as peaches in this dish.

STORING AND REHEATING
