Goldfish’s foray into chips is an astounding success. The signature fish shape is still intact but instead of flat, cheesy crackers, the crisps are light and puffy, shattering far more easily than the original formula. This makes for an enjoyable crispy texture that’s akin to thinly sliced potato chips. There are three new flavors: salt and vinegar, sour cream and onion, and cheddar. Sour cream and onion is by far my favorite; there is a robust allium flavor that’s mellowed out by tangy sour cream.
