Smokin' Transformation: Former Smokey Bones Restaurant Redesigned for Twin Peaks

Smokin' Transformation: Former Smokey Bones Restaurant Redesigned for Twin Peaks(RestaurantNews.com)  Since its launch 18 years ago, Twin Peaks is now a 100+ location restaurant chain across the US and Mexico. For the past 6 years DP3 Architects has had the privilege of partnering with Twin Peaks to design and develop new prototypes. These projects include upgraded and expanded indoor and outdoor bars, enhanced A/V packages, fun elements like outdoor fire pits, golf simulators, and more.

These restaurants are designed to be the ultimate sportsman’s lodge and the go-to destination for the best gameday experience. The goal of each space is to leverage the local sports lodge feel and engage the community by providing the best local craft beer selections and scratch-made menu options.

DP3 Architects is partnering with the brand on a new Twin Peaks restaurant located in Lakeland, FL. The project involves the comprehensive renovation of an existing 7,082-square-foot Smokey Bones restaurant, accompanied by an 884-square-foot addition and raised dining room extension. The renovation will encompass all aspects of the facility. This includes new exterior finishes, highlighted by the relocation of the front entrance to enhance visibility and accessibility, and the addition of a distinctive lodge-inspired entry tower.

Inside, guests can expect an optimized layout featuring a second bar for better service, updated furniture, wall treatments, and custom ceiling installations. From the revitalized kitchen facilities to the upgraded restroom amenities, every aspect of the renovation project will reflect the distinctive Twin Peaks aesthetic.
