Award-winning, full-service craft brew pub and restaurant partners with Murfreesboro Franchisees for first location in state
Birnamwood, WI (RestaurantNews.com) A taste of Wisconsin is making its way to The Volunteer State with Mr Brews Taphouse proud to announce that it will soon be opening its first craft brew pub and restaurant in Murfreesboro, pioneered by one local couple that wants to do something special for their community.
Having been married for 26 years, Marty and Mindi Bell are longtime staples in and around the Nashville area and can’t wait for their friends to get that first bite of an award-winning burger and first sip from a choice of countless craft beers on tap.
“This community has given Mindi and me so much, so it only felt right to give back in a big way,” said Marty. “There’s nothing in the area like Mr Brews. Our restaurant will be outfitted with 60 beers on tap and feature a wide array of brews from across the state, national favorites and seasonal rotations to surprise and delight every type of beer lover that walks through our doors.”
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Marty has spent the last 25 years working in the rental car business, but still found time to participate in different roles within the Boy Scouts of America on the unit, district, council and national level. Mindi has been just as prominent in the community, helping rehabilitate community members after injuries or surgeries as a well-known physical therapist at the local hospital. Additionally, she is a founding member of the high school Parent Teacher Organization and is currently the Scoutmaster for the first all-female scouts BSA Troop in Rutherford County.
“When looking for the right franchise opportunity it was important the concept reflected our family and community values,” said Mindi. “After meeting with the entire Mr Brews leadership team and making several restaurant visits we felt certain Murfreesboro would love this concept as much as we do.”
Through all their family travels over the years, both for work and for pleasure, one thing the Bells always look for in every city they visit is a brewery. Now as new Mr Brews franchisees, they are providing that opportunity for other travelers who visit Murfreesboro.
Once the lease is finalized for a location on the west side of Murfreesboro, Mr Brews Tennessee debut will feature indoor and patio seating while serving up burgers, salads, pizzas and sandwiches in addition its 60 beer taps. And this is just the beginning for Mr Brews and the Bells with plans to open four more locations in the future.
