Baker’s Quality Earns SQF Certification
SQF Certification is part of the company’s continuous efforts to improve food quality and safety.

According to the SQF Institute website, the SQF Program is, ” … a rigorous and credible food safety and quality program that is recognized by retailers, brand owners, and foodservice providers worldwide. The SQF Food Safety Codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to retail stores.”
The SQF program is recognized internationally, with over 14,000 certified sites in over 40 countries across 6 continents.
The need for SQF certification arose from the increasing globalization of the food supply chain. As the demand for raw materials and ingredients has risen around the world, food safety organizations recognized a need for safety and quality standards to rise along with them. SQF codes were first developed in 1994 and have been continually revised and expanded ever since. Earning the SQF Certification is a monumental step in Baker’s Quality®’s ongoing journey to deliver a safe, superior product.
