The $2 “Deluxe” Aldi Pantry Staple That Won’t Last Long

We independently select these products—if you buy from one of our links, we may earn a commission. All prices were accurate at the time of publishing.

Was it just us or did February seem just the slightest bit longer this year? All jokes aside, we’re excited winter’s coldest month is in the rearview and brighter days are on the horizon. The team at Aldi, it appears, is clearly on the same page because this latest batch of Aldi Finds is chock-full of spring flavors.

We got a sneak peek at dozens of new items hitting shelves this March and our grocery list runneth long with smart dinner shortcuts, savory snacks, adorable Easter treats, and more. Let’s take a look.

1. Season’s Choice Super Greens Smoothie Blend, $6.99

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Frozen fruits (and vegetables) will always make our grocery list. They’re flash-frozen at peak ripeness (so, packed with flavor), more convenient, easier to source, and simply better for certain tasks — in this case, smoothies. Find them in the freezer section March 27.

2. Kirkwood Nashville Hot Dry Rub Wings, $8.99

Like (shot) clockwork, these frozen Nashville-style wings are back March 6 — just in time for NCAA fans, though tournament watching is certainly not a prerequisite for enjoying these spicy wings. We could make a strong case for putting these out at your next (board) game night, book club meeting, Housewives reunion watch party, you name it.

3. Journey To… Vegetable Momos, $6.49

Speaking of crowd-pleasing snacks, you’ll want to make room in your freezer for these vegetable momos. Filled with cabbage, potato, onion, beans, carrots, peas, and more, these Nepalese-style dumplings promise big, bold flavor (and a sesame dipping sauce). They’re also available on March 6.

4. Park Street Deli Garlic Feta Dip, $3.39

Smear this on a pita or burger bun, set it out with crackers or crostini, or even turn it into an impromptu pasta sauce. The container’s the limit with this garlicky feta dip, which also comes in Original and Red pepper flavors. Find it in the fridge section on March 27.

5. Clancy’s Jalapeño Ranch Ridged Chips, $2.19

If you missed out on those Sour Cream and Shamrock Irish Potato Chips, this bag of spicy, zesty chips seems like a worthy alternative (as does the Hot Cheddar & Sour Cream Ridged Chips). Both are available March 13 and definitely way easier to spot than a four-leaf clover.

6. Specially Selected Creamy Swiss & Parmesan Deluxe Cheesy Potatoes, $2.39

Three words: Deluxe. Cheesy. Potatoes. This shortcut to one of the greatest side dishes of all time has us counting down the day until March 20 (when it hits shelves). Even better, it’s available in two additional flavors: Applewood Smoked Cheddar & Bacon and Mediterranean Herb, Tomato & Cheddar.

8. Fremont Fish Market Brown Sugar Atlantic Salmon, $3.99

Another great option for that freshly warmed farro? This Brown Sugar Atlantic Salmon, which comes with its own air fryer-friendly tray, sure seems like an obvious choice. Look for it in the freezer section on March 27.

9. Friendly Farms Lemon Meringue Whipped Topping, $2.99

March marks the unofficial start of lemon appreciation month around here. Celebrate the citrus or any day of the week really by finishing a slice of the perfect cheesecake with this lemon-meringue flavored whipped topping. Find it in the fridge section March 13.

10. Moser Roth Chocolate Truffle Eggs, $3.99

Let us just say, there are whole baskets worth of pastel-hued and egg-shaped treats hitting shelves starting March 6, including these elegant-looking chocolate truffle eggs. They’re filled with strawberry rhubarb, raspberry cream, sea salt caramel, and more. Moser Roth recently earned rave reviews in our dark chocolate bar taste test, so we have high egg-specations for these gems.
