MOOYAH Relaunches Rewards App with Industry Leading Loyalty Program

The ‘BEST’ burger chain launched a new version of its loyalty app on May 8th.

Plano, TX  (RestaurantNews.com)  MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, the 90-plus-unit better burger franchise, launched an updated rewards app on May 8th, rolling out a new loyalty framework and improved ordering experience. The relaunch of the MOOYAH app is one of many steps in the company’s ongoing effort to enhance its guests’ experience and continue to drive loyalty.

“The MOOYAH app is back and better than ever, and we look forward to seeing the role it will play in creating an even better guest experience,” explained Sarah Beddoe, MOOYAH Vice President of Marketing. “By creating a user-friendly app that incentivizes guests with rewards, MOOYAH aims to create a stronger bond with its loyal fanbase and encourage repeat visits.”

Key updates within the app and loyalty structure include a switch from a straightforward banked dollars system to an accrual structure that allows guests to unlock free menu items in exchange for earned points.

Guests earn one point for each dollar spent at MOOYAH, and rewards can be redeemed for as little as 25 points. The redemption structure includes fountain drinks, personal fries, $5 off a purchase, a free shake and a free burger of choice.

“In addition to redemption options, guests will receive exclusive offers like free menu items, purchase discounts, birthday and half birthday offers and pre-launch access to new menu items,” Beddoe added.

Existing loyalty members’ banked dollars will be translated to an equivalent number of points at the time of the relaunch, and guests who have previously accrued the respective number of points will immediately be eligible to redeem their rewards for a 25, 50, 75 or 100-point item.

“As guests use the app, valuable data insights will be collected,” Beddoe said. “With this information, purchasing behavior can be analyzed in order to improve the guest experience further and develop offers and campaigns unique to each member.”

This effort will be beneficial to Franchise Owners and guests alike as personalization drives loyalty and a more positive experience, encouraging repeat business and likely increasing traffic and revenue at MOOYAH locations.

To celebrate the app’s launch and National Hamburger Day, the brand will be offering a FREE BURGER with any $5 purchase to existing or new subscribers.  This offer is valid May 26-28.
