This event aims to involve the Torrance community and commemorate their excitement in becoming a part of the Del Amo Fashion Center, the South Bay’s leading retail destination. The Torrance location will feature an impressive selection of 24 draft beers, including local brews and a delightful assortment of ciders.
The Slater’s 50/50 family is thrilled to kick off the Burgers, Bacon, and Beer celebration in Torrance. “Our newest establishment in Torrance positions Slater’s 50/50 as the prominent burger destination in Southern California as we continue to expand across the state. I can’t wait for everyone to taste our over-the-top burgers, milkshakes, and, of course, my personal favorite, the irresistible cheesy Vampire Dip,” says Ernie Romo, Chief Operating Officer of Slater’s 50/50. The restaurant will add its unique flavor to the premier shopping and entertainment scene at the Del Amo Fashion Center. With over 4,566 square feet, the new location will encompass a spacious dining area (2,118 sq ft) and two expansive patio areas, each exceeding 500 sq ft.
Slater’s 50/50 was created in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, California, by Scott Slater, a SoCal native with a passion for burgers, bacon, craft beer, and a disdain for the boring and inspired by the belief that bacon is meat candy. Scott created the original 50/50 patty of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. It now has evolved to include an array of inconceivably “slaterized” items packed with award-winning burgers, loaded flatbreads, over-the-top salads, amped-up milkshakes, tons of beers on tap, and some healthy options too.
