For several years, I was using a $85 3-piece set from a leading direct-to-consumer brand but just wasn’t happy with how they were holding up — they were warped and discolored. Although I admittedly am a lazy cook and try to make meals as low-maintenance as possible, especially after a long day at work. I use my baking sheets at least several times a week to whip up vegetables, fish, frozen pizzas, and the occasional batch of cookies, so I knew that I was due for an upgrade. I began to do research on baking sheets (and due to my profession, I’m quite picky about the products I bring into my home) and Nordic Ware kept popping up.
With glowing reviews on multiple retailers and budget-friendly ($45 less than my original baking sheets set!), this set seemed worth it to me. I decided to give them a try and put them through some vigorous testing in my small kitchen over the course of a month.
What Is the Nordic Ware Naturals 3-Piece Baking Set?
This Nordic Ware baking set includes the Naturals Jelly Roll Pan (15.12” x 10.75”), Naturals Half Sheet (17.25” x 12.25”), and Naturals Quarter Sheet (12.25” x 8.87”). All of these pans are made out of pure aluminum and can withstand temperatures of 400 degrees. These pans are considered dishwasher-safe, though some reviewers mention that the aluminum was stripped off when they tried to wash them in the dishwasher. I do not have a dishwasher and handwash everything, so I didn’t run into this issue.
Why I Love the Nordic Ware Naturals 3-Piece Baking Set
What I love most about this set is the range of sizes you get. I use the small one to roast a side of veggies or a piece of salmon, while the medium size one is saved for personal frozen pizzas or veggies if I’m cooking for both myself and my boyfriend. Not to mention that three for the price of $40 is a pretty great deal!
The nonstick pans heat evenly, so I no longer have the issue of the veggies on the edge of the pan being done first (or, to be honest, burnt). They’re also easy to hand-wash and don’t require a lot of elbow-grease to scrub them clean. I’ve been testing them for two months, and so far, they are still as pristine as when I got them.
