The Slater’s 50/50 family is thrilled to venture into new territory. “We look forward to getting the Burgers, Bacon and Beer party started in San Jose! The Bay Area is a beautiful region known for its passion for delicious food and authentic hospitality. Having Slater’s 50/50 become a part of this incredible neighborhood has been in our objectives as a company and we are excited to bring that vision to reality. I can’t wait for everyone to try our one-of-a-kind over the top burgers, our incredible milkshakes and my favorite menu item; the cheesy Vampire Dip”, says Ernie Romo, Chief Operating Officer of Slater’s 50/50. The company is also elated to have a space in the Westfield Oakridge shopping center which is known for its premier shopping, dining, entertainment and high foot traffic. Slater’s 50/50 looks forward to welcoming guests and becoming part of the neighborhood. The new location will have a Dining room capacity of 169 with “usable interior” space of 4,560 sq ft and “customer area” of 1,236 sq ft.
Slater’s 50/50 was created in 2009 in Anaheim Hills, California, by Scott Slater, a SoCal native with a passion for burgers, bacon, craft beer, and a disdain for the boring and inspired by the belief that bacon is meat candy. Scott created the original 50/50 patty of 50% ground bacon and 50% ground beef. It now has evolved to include an array of inconceivably “slaterized” items packed with award-winning burgers, loaded flatbreads, over-the-top salads, amped-up milkshakes, tons of beers on tap, and some healthy options too.
