For the Dough (optional if using store-bought dough):
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Filling:
- 1/3 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 pound sliced Italian cold cuts or pepperoni
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasonings
For the Topping:
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
In the bowl of a stand mixer, whisk together the water, sugar, and yeast. Add the flour and salt. With the dough hook, mix on medium speed until the dough comes together.
Transfer the dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured piece of parchment paper and roll it into a large rectangle.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the dough, leaving about a 1″ border around the edges. Top with sliced cold cuts or pepperoni, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
