Proceeds to Benefit Local School for Children with Autism
Provo, UT (RestaurantNews.com) Chip Cookies, the original gourmet cookie delivery company, has announced its partnership with Joe Ingles, small forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, to launch a special cookie to celebrate Autism Awareness Month. The cookie is a sugar cookie with blue frosting and rainbow sprinkles. The cookie is available in stores starting Monday, April 17, and will run for two weeks until Sunday, April 30.
Chip Cookies will donate the proceeds raised from this cookie to a school, picked by the Ingles family, specializing in education for children with autism. Jacob Ingles, Joe’s son, has autism, and the cause of autism education and awareness hits home for the Ingles family.
“We are honored to partner with Joe Ingles to promote autism awareness and support a cause that is so important to his family, our family and families in communities everywhere” said Chip CEO and co-founder, Sarah Wilson. “We hope this fun, delicious cookie will serve as a reminder of the need to support and advocate for individuals with autism.”
Joe Ingles added, “Our family loves Chip Cookies, so we are over the moon to support autism awareness. Jacob has taught us so much about joy, love, acceptance, and perseverance, and we hope this cookie can bring a little bit of joy and awareness to families with similar dynamics, impacted by autism.”
The new cookie flavor will be available for purchase at all Chip Cookies locations, as well as through their online ordering system.
